Project Overview
Alkhidmah Contracting & Trading SPC (Khidmah SPC) successfully completed the civil construction works for the Clean-in-Place (CIP) System at Al Ghaith Chemical Industries LLC, located in Sur, Sultanate of Oman.
The CIP system is an essential part of the plant’s water treatment process, ensuring hygienic and efficient cleaning of internal pipelines, tanks, and processing equipment. Khidmah SPC’s scope involved comprehensive civil and structural works to support the installation and operation of this advanced system.
Scope of Work
Khidmah SPC’s role covered the complete civil and structural foundation works required for the installation of the CIP system and associated plant infrastructure.
Key Work Activities:
- Excavation and Earthwork: Site preparation, leveling, and excavation for CIP foundations and drainage systems.
- Reinforced Concrete Foundations: Design and construction of equipment bases, pedestals, and structural supports for tanks, pumps, and CIP vessels.
- Structural Elements: Construction of beams, pillars, and slabs to house mechanical and piping components.
- Industrial Flooring: High-strength concrete floors with chemical-resistant finishing suitable for water treatment operations.
- Cable Trench & Drainage Systems: Civil works for underground cable ducts, trenches, and water discharge systems integrated with the plant layout.
- Coordination with Mechanical & E&I Teams: Seamless integration of civil work with piping, equipment installation, and electrical systems to maintain alignment and utility access.
